It’s a two part interview where in the first part she says she doesn’t think Vivid will renew her contract because she’s gotten too many tattoos. Earlier I wrote how Ryan Rayzer at LukeFord.com noticed how Monique’s name no longer had the “Vivid Contract Girl” tag under her name when listed at LA Direct. Thank you to iwasthere for the answer!
Harvey Dent also asked if Monique is no longer doing boy/girl. I checked LA Direct and they have her listed as available for only solo, girl/girl, and feature dancing.

At the end of 2008 on a Youtube interview, Monique said she did not know if Vivid was going to renew her contract, because she had gotten so many tattoos. She also mentioned that she’d been in porn for six years and that she wasn’t getting younger. I got the feeling she was not sure if she wanted to continue as well.
It would not be odd for Monique to be at AVN if her contract was not being renewed. Lanny and Mercedes also ended their Vivid contracts with an AVN appearance as did Lexie Marie.
Monique was also available via a few madams in 2008, which makes me thinks she needed a cash infusion. She’s always been the type that picked and chose what she’d do, so something must be up with her.

Monique had surgery where half her cervix was removed due to cancer issues. That is why she took a break from shooting for Vivid, she had medical issues.
I do think she is getting the tats as a passive way of trying to get out of the industry. She is so cute and I hate it that she marks herself up like that.

That is true. Im just giving examples. But the girls that were abused should at least know here they can go for help. And not just from Shelley. They are not going to get better in porn and they are just adding more layers of trauma and pain and falling more and more into drugs.
