How do blue people have sex without everything going horribly wrong?

I’ve been wondering how will the performers in “This Ain’t Avatar XXX” have sex without blue paint rubbing off of them. Misty Stone said in this press release how their private parts are painted blue. I didn’t know what exactly would be used if either paint or special effects. Is it safe?? How can the performers be covered in paint and have sex? Won’t it then all come off??

I contacted Marissa Boragno at Hustler Video and asked her these questions. Thank you for the reply!

Hi Darrah,

Yes, everyone was indeed painted blue. It was pretty amazing actually! They were airbrushed with different hues of an alcohol-based blue paint. We had to use an alcohol-based paint so that it wouldn’t rub off (especially in the sex scenes). Once this paint hits your body, it dries smooth and flat within seconds and won’t come off without some serious at-home scrubbing! J And yes, it’s perfectly safe to have sex with the paint on as it is non-toxic.

Thank you so much for taking the time to blog about this! Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you out with.

PS. As a side note, the press release that was put out about Misty Stone talks about the fact that the film was shot in front of a green screen. That is actually inaccurate. The film was shot entirely on a set with no green screen what so ever. We attempted to recreate the Avatar rainforest as realistically and as organically as possible. There will obviously be some special effects that will be added in post-production; however, as for the background of the film, all of that is real and not computer-generated.
