As Rics said in this comment, Savanna came in at the wrong decade. Someone like her would have been more appreciated during the Golden Age of Porn where acting was important. Many in porn then had come from Hollywood and theater. So you had trained actors, and others who took acting seriously, making porn movies.
Porn looked to Hollywood as an example because they didn’t have any other role models. So during those decades, much of the porn that was made was like any other Hollywood movie except for the obvious sex scenes. If you took the sex out, a lot of those movies would have passed for any other Hollywood movie then.
When Vivid released their Deep Throat remake “Throat: A Cautionary Tale”, Steve Hirsch used none of the Vivid Girls. Especially Savanna and Briana Banks who I could see play the part Sasha Grey starred as. How can you put out an expensive feature and not include any of your contract stars? If you have no faith in your own stars, then why should anyone else? Now Briana is gone while Savanna is tossed aside for the newer girls.

This woman is beautiful and classy.
Years ago when I was exotic dancing at a club called Hotties back in Florida, Savanna was brought in to feature dance.
She has a very good personality and looks just as good in person as in photos. Actually come to think of it, meeting her first planted the seed in my mind to think about doing porn.
I think at this point in her career, she should probably write and direct her own movies – she’d probably be great at it since she has a keen sense of what much of porn right now lacks.
