Jack Venice will be sentenced on December 5. He did not testify during the trial.

It didn’t show Jack hugging girlfriend Hanna Hilton and she wasn’t seen on that video as he was taken away. I don’t know if she was there yesterday as he was convicted but she was with him in court this week.

COLFAX, Wash. — A Whitman County jury found porn star Christopher Reid guilty of rape late Friday night. Jurors convicted Reid – a.k.a. Jack Venice – of second-degree rape, first-degree burglary, two counts of residential burglary but not guilty of attempted residential burglary.
The jury began deliberating at 5:30pm and returned the verdicts at 9:00.
Prosecutors say Reid and another man, Kyle Schott, broke into the Kappa Alpha Theta house at Washington State University and raped a student while she slept.
Schott, who testified against Reid, has already pleaded guilty to rape and burglary.
Schott told jurors Reid asked him for a condom after fondlng the woman, and then raped her.
Defense attorneys spent two hours trying to poke holes in Schott’s testimony, saying Reid was being made a scapegoat.
Reid will be sentenced in December. He had been free on bond since his arrest, but will remain in custody until his sentencing.

The defense’s big hope was to poke holes in Schott’s testimony? Did they not know that the rapee was going to finger Reid as the rapor?
Not that I have any idea, but it sounds like Jack got taken to the cleaners by his attorneys. Just wanted a bigger bill he’d have to pay. Or, maybe they tried for a plea bargain like Schott got and couldn’t get one.
There’s probably more to it that I don’t know about…

It’s rare that a rape case gets sent to a trial and even more rare that there is a conviction. But it was clearly obvious to both sides that this woman was raped. His lawyers couldn’t say the usual “she wanted it and asked for it”. Her friends all said they came back to the house and she slept on the floor. It also clearly helped, thank God, that they had tried to break into several sororities and fraternities that night and thrown out of one for exposing himself (Jack). Because of society usually blaming the victim, I think what clearly nailed him was the breaking into and thrown out of the other sororities and fraternities that night where so many witnesses identified Jack. And also about why drive 300 miles to “find a party”. He wasn’t on Shane’s World official business. He went there on his own.

I’m not so inclined to believe he premeditated it. When the girl woke up, they ran. Doesn’t sound like somebody who’s a cold blooded rapist. I’m thinking more like the guy was just an idiot who thought that because of his “professional experience” with Shane’s World, he thought he was Big Man on Campus and idiotically just thought he’d be able to use the same line the movies do and get some action. And that that’s why he drove the 300 miles.
But, when they do a movie, I know they look around for people who want them to come. Everyone at the party is at the party because they’re into what’s gonna go on. It’s like a homing signal for any sluts on campus they can find. The whole thing gets set up. I’m thinking Jack was just stupid and just like some people originally believed Bang Bus was real, he thought it would be easy to make the same thing happen.
