LukeIsBack reports that Pastor Melissa Scott could actually be former porn star Barbi Bridges. Melissa married televangelist Gene Scott in 2000 when he was 70 and she 32. He died of cancer and left her a fortune including his ministry. She is now reportely dating the son of the owner of TBN, Trinity Broadcasting Network, who is currently divorcing his wife.

I think I’ve seen this chick preaching a couple of times when I start clicking through channels. I’ve actually tried to listen to what she says but never made it past 2 or 3 minutes. There’s also a fat guy that’s really old I’ve tried to listen to a few times. In the TV Guide, his shows always got names like “Genesis”, or “Galatians”, just like names of books in the bible. He’s got white hair it’s so gray. I can listen to him for about 5 minutes.

If you do a little research you’ll find that Paul Crouch Jr. of Trinity Broadcast Network tries to excuse Melissa’s involvement in porn in her earlier years, saying that everybody makes mistakes, etc. (Something to that effect.) In essence, knowing her very well he confirmed the truth of her being Barbi Bridges.
What the hell is she still doing on-line spreading her gap while standing on stage with a bible in her hand?? Not a good idea to play with the sacred things of God.
The guy involved can also be found on smutjunkies under gay erotic porn. He’s so self-absorbed it’s laughable. Some people are desperate for any kind of attention! Is there any substance behind this pound of flesh? Probably not.
Take a look at the site now before the knowledge of it is spread and it gets taken down. There you will also find the reference to the yahoo group that was promptly removed when confronted with his crass stupidity.

Just wanted to express my condolences to those in judgement against Pastor Scott…..to be capable of living life in a way that still allows (some people) to stand in judgement of others, when that person has received the precious gift our Lord has offered, simply shows how urgently we all need to (truly read the Bible), or truly listen (to those that have)…(IF)Pastor Scott errs…(and I personally don’t think so)…she alone will pay the penalty….just as each person that goes against the Word of God and judges her incorrectly…I don’t know any of the people in question (personally)…but i’ve heard Pastor Scott teach……..and, I do know the Lord very personally…my advice is…accept each other for what we truly are,…Our Fathers children……and let’s not be so quick to call Our Father a liar when He manifest before our eyes the type of change in someones life that is sole basis and outcome of truly coming to know the Lord through His Word and a personal relationship. The thief was a thief…all his life…till he died on the cross beside Our Lord. Our Lord forgave him…and he is in fact in paradise…how about the lady caught in the very act of adultery,…did Jesus comdemn her for what she had done? No……We must judge righeously…or not at all. Your plea for tolerance is commendable however the bible itself says God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble. It is not very humble to be profaning God’s word and witness by standing on stage professing one thing and carrying on with someone else’s husband (who by the way has two children) pretending to be a woman of God. Please…do us all a favor and know your bible. The woman caught in adultery was a lay person not a preacher of the Word who knows better. And if reformed why does she still have softporn pictures of herself on the internet some requiring permisssioned licensing. Not very smart. What is she doing with the money being given to her. Is she feeding the poor, helping the downtrodden, giving it away to charity? Or is she using it to fund her extravagant lifestyle at the expense of the believing elderly person, struggling household, intrigued men. She is not fluent in 20 language, only 3 at the most (which demonstrates she is a complete phony because she cannot pronounce more than two effectively), and it is well known that she demanded her people to give back all their tapes of Gene’s sermons, because according to sources, she very cleverly reviews his work only to repeat what he has done with a few changes to portray them as her own knowledge. She’s a puppet. It’s a good gimmick but phony as hell to keep the money coming in. Not surprising as she married someone much older in porno production then someone much older in religion (aberrated religion) and why, for the money!! She sold her soul both ways for the dollar. She’s probably learned some things along the way, but pandering and prostitution that is still happening today, is not a godly attribute. And everyone at the top knows it. I was directed to youtube divinely to see the scariest stuff I have ever seen (Shaye St. John: Holiday Shaye) in representation of what is taking place. She’s a self-centered puppet for this group of religious hypocrites, and will do anything to ‘fit in’ as she states in her Marie Claire article. My concern is the sacred and holy representation of the calling and the Kingdom and deep regard for his family. He is running from his true responsibility as a husband and father, and she has opened the door to a heathen, who happens to belong to another woman. Choose this day who you will serve, you are either a child of God, or a child of the Father of lies. It’s looks to me like these two are a child of the latter. May God bring judgement upon these two to clean the church of this profanity and corruption to make way for true examples of righteousness and as warning for others who may be led to believe that this conduct is okay. The bible states, better to have a millstone tied around one’s neck and thrown to the bottom of the sea, than to hurt God’s little children and to lead people into self-destruction. Judgement begins in the house of God. If the foundations be turn down, what is left to stand on. We’ll all see what happens next, trust me.

I’ve caught her show half a dozen times, only one
before I knew anything about her past. I will not judge her. I was (am) impressed her intelegence and her talent of getting the message of Gods letter to us.
I don’t know when or why God called her It can’t be the money. (He seems to pick the simpleminded, murders and cowards to to do his work) to “confound the wise” or self rightous.
How she got where she is, and her Dead husbands teachings should not be a factor now.

I’ know that when a person is trully given over to Jesus they do not continue to sin willfilly. this so called pastor not only has not repented of her sins but brasenly like Jessebel commits harlotry by dating another woman’s husband, who is now devorcing his wife, in case you wishy woshy christians who say not to judge, all you have to do is look at her life to know that she is unrepentant for her sins as she continues to sin, get into the word and stop being so shallow it is not judgmental to speak up and expose sin and the person committing it espesially when they are in a leadership possition. remember what Jesus said and read Romans chapter 6.
