Ashley Massaro, the infamous “Wrestle-Hooker” from Long Island, New York who reached the pinnacle of success in
World Wrestling Entertainment by becoming the 2005 Diva Search Winner and subsequent Playboy Wrestlemania Cover Girl has been released by the company.
Ashley claimed on her MySpace blog last week that she had requested her WWE release due a situation involving her seven year old daughter’s health.
Ashley had been linked with high-priced Hollywood escort service “Bella Models” earlier this year.Rolling Stone magazine reported that Ashley was being advertised on the Bella Models site for $25,000 per night.
While this was before her entrance into WWE, it became a major public relations nightmare for Massaro, who at first lashed out against the reports, but then backed off and simply stopped discussing the matter.
