Because we all know how hard up for cash Jenna is, right? I’m sorry but this is tacky for a celebrity who has bragged how many millions she has to now start her own eBay store to sell her old junk. She, Tito, and her friends have all bragged how rich she is. But now she’s selling furniture online.
Her store is called House of Jameson and the first thing up for sale is her $9,500.00 couch. Yeah you heard me. But fear not! The shipping is free!! And we all know the few fans she still has left has that kind of cash lying around especially in this economy. But she claims the buying price was double than what it’s being auctioned for now:
This barely used silk silver Casa Armani sofa belongs to Jenna Jameson. Now that she and her beau, Tito have purchased a new home and are having twins, they have decided that a silk couch might not be necessary.
The couch was purchased about 2 years ago and located in a unoccupied sitting area of Jenna’s Hollywood Hills home.
The original purchase price was at least double what it is being auctioned for.
Thanks for checking it out and good luck!

In April she put up her Lamborghini on Ebay for $182,900.00. But the eBay page said the item had ended and was never sold. She was also selling her Hollywood Hills home in August for $2,700,000. I don’t even know if the home has been sold yet or not. Jenna and Tito must not be that hard up for cash if they’re going around buying $3,399,000.00 homes.
Wealthy celebrities don’t usually sell their things on eBay. Their families might trying to make some quick cash from their famous relative. But the celebrity themselves hire people to do this kind of work discreetly and not publicly like this. Wealthy people buy each other’s homes, cars, and yatchs. But I doubt they’re selling their old couch to the highest bidder.
There is five days left in the sale with no bids as of yet. Like her Lamborghini, I doubt this will sell either.

I like how the listing goes to lengths to explain that the used couch is in good condition, just like a typical used car salesman would.
It’s like eBay is just an easy, don’t have to work, way to make some money. All serious furniture retailing efforts have completely failed on the web. Furniture is something you want to look at in person and not just some stupid picture of before you buy. But, Jenna just throws it up there thinking how neat it will be to make all that money without having to have too much work done.

Max Hardcore should have stuck his yellow couch on eBay. I bet that would have had a few bids.

A MySpace-based Friend of mine recently told me that he tried to open up his own eBay-based store, but decided against it when both the folks at eBay and PayPal wanted to take half of the money he would have made(off of his planned store)for themselves, for I’m sure that Jenna will have to split her eBay profits half-in-half with those eBay & Paypal folks:so much for Jenna making extra Jenna $$$ bucks.

They both wanted half? So how much does the buyer walk away with? 1/4? And then there’s taxes. haha

Jenna has sold things on Ebay before. In 1998, I remember an ad where she was selling a very nice car on the site.
However, I wonder why she is trying to sell stuff now? What happened to all the $$$ she got from Playboy? She couldn’t have blown through millions in two years.

N/A, she could donate it to charity and write it off as a tax exemption. They say many wealthy people start donating to charities in December so to dump what they can so to get as much on a tax write off. She could do that.

She claimed she is financially destitute because of her still pending divorce. Which is a lie. But I explain more of it here:

I don’t think we’ll ever know the real truth then. The whole situation is bizarre. One minute she’s buying a new place in the OC, then next she is poor, and then she’s selling furniture on Ebay. However, I do believe her lawyer fees are high, because the divorce has dragged on for over a year. It might have been cheaper for her to keep her ex in this case.

It’s been dragging for two years. They separated in December 2006.
