Jenna Jameson started “her clothing line” and is now selling t-shirts ranging from $25-$50. The $50 t-shirts are on sale. Hear that folks!! That’s the sale price!! Because we all know that a woman that did vanilla porn and made millions from her husband’s company needs this extra cash!!
Her DVD’s were always over-priced. Now a t-shirt is selling for the same price. Good luck trying to sell these in this economy during the start of the fall/winter season!
She’s not a major A-list celebrity who can get away with charging this kind of money for t-shirts. Her fan base was in the adult industry. No one is saying she had to do porn forever. Of course not. But she could have stayed behind the scenes in porn and actually be involved in running the company she claims to run.
Jenna also gave her big FU speech to the industry at last year’s AVN Awards which alienated her core fan base. She alienated an even bigger chunk of her fan base after saying she’s “totally hetero” and was never bisexual. Though she lived with Nikki Tyler for years and was heart broken when Nikki left her for a man.
Is this the same clothing line she was starting with Heatherette designer Richie Rich? It was announced last year that they were opening a bar together in New York. It was a former brothel and they would name it The General Store. The store would be selling Richie’s designs and clothing picked by Jenna. They had planned to open it this year. But the year is ending.
Is the store still being planned on opening? Or has it died like most of Jenna’s other projects? Like the feauture film of her not movie worthy life that had an un-named major director attached to the project; and the VH1 reality show that was suppose to have aired this summer.

This is the best piece you’ve written in a while. It’s not the funniest. But, it’s the most incisive. The title is perfect because we all know she’s not doing this because she has an affinity for well made t-shirts.

I do like the t-shirt that has like an imprint of Jenna’s face diagonal across the front. A girl could wear that like under a leather jacket and people would just see part of the face on the t-shirt, then want her to open her jacket to see the rest of it. If I’m lucky, she opens the jacket and arches the back, sticking out her boobs to show off her “t-shirt”.

Tito will be out maybe a year too. He’s going to get surgery I believe I just read. On his back. It would take him out of working 6-12 months. So his star will probably fade even more as it already has done. He was also suppose to have his own reality show come out at the same time as Jenna’s reality show but neither of theirs came out this summer.

Yeah I kind of forgot about all that stuff that was “supposedly” happening for Jenna – big things like a reality show and the movie. Everything seems to be crumbling… hmm, maybe one reason she realized “Ok, I think my career is coming to a serious end, I’m going to get pregnant.”
I knew she wasn’t going to make it mainstream. She’s too old for it, and her porn star doesn’t help either. She’s fucked because mainstream doesn’t fully accept her and her old porn fan base hates what she’s become (for the most part).

The reason why Traci Lords still has a moderately successful mainstream career is because she’s hung with the Tinseltown crowd and has completely turned her back on the adult industry(thanks to her notorious 1986 underage thingy[that alsmost destroyed the industry]),while Ginger Lynn and Marilyn Chambers did have some mainstream success but went back to the industry when money and times got tough,although Ron Jeremy frequently slides back and forth between the mainstream and the adult industry(he also hangs with the Hollywood crowd,but refuses to let go of his industry friends).
Otehrwise,it’ll be very interesting upon how Sasha Grey will be received by the mainstream crowd and Hollywood folks with her upcoming role in (Oscar winner)Steven Sodenbergh’s new film(and if she’ll stay in or leavet he industry if she gets offers for many mainstream films).

I believe that the only way a PW will be sucessfull in maystream is to credible turn the her back on the Porn Industry. Tracy showed the way. She even stopped doing nude scenes proving that Suzi Bright was right when she said that there is nothing more prude that a true (not taking a break, really out of the game) prostitute.
Ginger and Marilyn refused to do so and become just curiosities, same for the Hedgehog.
