When: Voting opens online on 1st February 2011

Where: www.televisionx.com/shafta

SHAFTA ceremony: Wednesday 9th March 2011 From 5pm.

The Soft and Hard Adult Film and Television Awards are back! Yes it’s that time of year when everyone in the Adult biz is talking about who will take home a SHAFTA.

This year Television X will be taking the awards to the next level with industry sponsors supporting the awards, an exclusive awards ceremony and after party. Two additional SHAFTA categories have been added to the lineup this year. Best Online Scene is added to the bill including those scenes most watched on www.televisionx.com and Foreign Performer of the Year, to recognise the increase in international talent on Television X.

Nominees in the new category celebrating international talent are hot property and AVN winner Andy San Dimas. She wooed British audiences with her sizzling girl on girl performance in the Brit/Yank fuck fest Layla Jade Does Hollywood. Feisty French Stunner Angell Summers discovered new things to do between the neon lights of Amsterdam in Euro Anal All Stars, as did Czech fitty Carla Cox. There’s not much Carla won’t do and Television X customers got to see it all! Busty Hungarian Aletta Ocean got to grips with Di Sergio’s piece in two separate scenes but in Leather Freaks we get to see her dominate the stud who loves being her slave boy. Finally, Sofia Valentine gets a worthy nod and is also nominated for best sex scene for her PVC Clad performance in Euro Anal All Stars.

With some of the girls confirmed to attend the ceremony, the SHAFTAs are looking likely to be the MUST GO awards ceremony for the industry. The SHAFTAs are the only UK adult industry awards where the public get to choose who they think is best in the British business. Across 15 categories and over 60 nominees Television X shall present the very best in adult British broadcasting. Voting opens on Tuesday 1st February at http://www.televisionx.com/shafta with the results announced at a live and exclusive awards ceremony on 9th March in central London.
