On April 1st, Dirty D’s lawyers filed a not guilty plea and also requested that the judge reduce his $200,000 bond to $40,000 so that he can use the difference to pay his legal expenses. But the judge sided with prosecutors and denied the request. Prosecutors argued against reducing his bond because they say he has the financial means to support his case.
Prosecutors said that officials found $60,000 in cash in Dirty D’s home and how his company is worth a million dollars.
An arraignment is scheduled for April 5, 2010 where a new hearing date will be set following discovery proceedings.
MikeSouth.com also reports that authorities have charged him with 36 felony counts. He says he has a copy of the the license that Kelsie Cummings gave Dirty D and the girl on the license looks nothing at all like her.
